Biography

After 25 years in politics, most recently as an MEP from 2014 to 2019, Christine has joined Tilder as Associate Director. A transport specialist at the French and European level, she is passionate about the challenges of climate change and sustainable transport.  Christine was a member of both the European Parliament’s Transport Committee and the “Dieselgate” inquiry committee. She was Managing Director of Île-de-France Mobilités from 2010 to 2015, where she chaired the Investment Commission.  Christine began her career as a parliamentary assistant in the French Senate (1996-2014). She was an Ile de France regional councillor from 2004 to 2015 and a local councillor in Villejuif (2001-2014).

Committed to combating violence against women, she was the European Parliament’s Rapporteur for the ratification of the Istanbul Convention by the European Union.

She is author of “Des Roses dans les Etoiles, un parcours militant”, published by L’Harmattan in 2018.

Christine Revault d’Allonnes-Bonnefoy holds a Master’s degree in political sociology (Pantheon-Sorbonne University).
