Following the municipal elections on March 22, 2026, Marlène Schiappa joins the Paris Council as part of the “Paris apaisé” group, which brings together eleven centrist elected officials from the list led by Pierre-Yves Bournazel.
For a six-year term, she intends to influence major municipal decisions in the capital. Marlène Schiappa will bring to the council issues she has long championed: reform of after-school programs, access to daycare, women’s safety on public transportation, and a municipal environment conducive to business and economic initiative.
