Artistes en confinement (Artists in lockdown) series launch

During a two-month lockdown, all artistic and cultural activities suddenly came to a standstill. Shows, concerts, exhibitions, residencies were brutally canceled; filming, productions, festivals were all put on hold. This cultural blackout was sudden and harsh. But after a few days of bewilderment, people decided to go back to work, this time in a different way. AAD-fund launched a weekly one-on-one encounter with artists during the Covid-19 pandemic. Once a week, an artist involved in an AAD-fund project opens their doors to you to talk about their feelings, projects, and their own experience in lockdown. Artistes en confinement (Artists in lockdown) is a brief look at the strong link binding these contemporary artists to AAD-fund projects across the African continent.
